Today I am celebrating 8 years of marriage to my husband... {Our Wedding Day ~ May 7th, 2005} I am certainly NOT a marriage expert, and still make many mistakes (just ask my husband!). We have seen ups and downs in these eight years - financial hardships, unemployment, lots of closed doors...but God has been faithful and I am truly blessed with a wonderful marriage. I have {sorta} figured a few things out...especially from those newlywed days. The first few months of my marriage were a challenge and a huge adjustment. ReplyDeleteOur 4th of July plans are to have a cookout with family, and then we are heading up to the Indiana Dunes on Lake Michigan for some quality family time. I sure hope the weather cooperates! :)

ReplyDeleteWe live near a historical area that does fire works every year. We will have a backyard BBQ and then go watch fire works over there.

ReplyDeleteHolidays to me are family times I enjoy seeing my sons eyes light up from the sparklers and trying to be a big helper in the kitchen and invite people over who may not have any place to eat or family. My mom taught me to feed people and make them feel like family. That's my 4th of July plans. Happy 4th of July EveryOne!
