My children have been talking a lot about Christmas lately. I am not sure why - but I thought it would be fun to plan a day for "Christmas In July"! Of course it is never too soon to talk about Jesus' birth :) Here are some of the fun ideas we came up with and will be trying soon (hoping to squeeze it in before the move!)...
Read the Christmas Story in Bible
Ice cream sundae's in honor of Jesus' birthday
Play with insta-snow
I found a video of this - but have not tried it yet so cannot vouch for how it works.
I would imagine that you need some very durable wrapping paper :)
Candy Cane fishing game
Place candy canes in a bucket, bowl or mug.
Tie a string to one candy cane and use that candy cane to "fish" out the rest.
Watch "Frosty", "Rudolph" or another favorite
Eat red & green popcorn while you are at it!
Thanks for stopping by :)
Do you have any "Christmas In July" ideas? I would love to hear from you!
